Fall trends for kids: military

Although the look never completely goes out of style, military-inspired designs and details are huge for fall 2012. Just a couple of weeks ago, StyleBakeryMom.com editor Christine Fox covered the trend for women, offering her top military-inspired picks (read the article here). But trust us when we say that it's just as big for kids, too. Any age, either gender...every little one can line up for this trend. Although some adult styles can be ultra-structured (read: stiff), the kids seem to get the best deal with jackets, pants and shirts in flexible fabrications and cut with a little room to spare. And for those of us who count versatility as a virtue, the kids' looks below will look fantastic into the winter and even spring 2013 with a little smart layering.
