Mommy and me fall style: boots and booties with a bit of fringe

By this time last year, the whole boots-with-fur-trim trend was beginning to emerge. This year, however, a new, more casual statement is being made with fringed boots and booties. It’s also a trend that works for both moms and their daughters, as evidenced by the similar styles featured below. As you would expect, these styles are excellent for creating an easy bohemian or western-inspired look, but don’t write them off if your tastes (or your daughter’s) tend more toward a classic or even rocker-esque aesthetic. With varying amounts of the embellishment, it’s pretty easy to choose a pair that will work into just about any wardrobe. But remember: a little fringe goes a long way, so leave the ten gallon hat and buckskin jacket in the back of the closet…at least for fall 2012.
